With the cost of healthcare being debated across the nation, I want to recognize New West Health Services, a company committed to connecting thousands of Montana’s small businesses to affordable health care.
Why am I recognizing New West? As the State Director of the Montana office for The National Federation of Independent Business, I have seen its commitment to providing affordable and benefit-rich health plans to small businesses throughout the state.
NFIB is the leading small business association representing small and independent business. Our members consistently rate the rising cost of healthcare as one of their top concerns. Through New West, NFIB has been able to provide our members- small and independent employers- throughout the state the opportunity to access healthcare that keeps their employees healthy, while providing coverage for sickness and injuries. Not only do our members receive access to great health plans, New West also offers an additional premium discount through our association.
This year, NFIB members enrolled in one of our New West plans face a rate increase of 3.5%. When compared with the rate increases of 10% or more being imposed by other carriers, our members are seeing significant savings on their premiums.
Expanded preventive benefits, affordable rates, and an upfront discount are all benefits available to small employers through New West. It’s obvious to me that New West is a company that believes in small business.
Sincerely,
Riley Johnson
