That's the reason New West Health Services, the state’s second largest domestic health services corporation, is dedicated to empowering Montanans with great health insurance plans.

”We see ourselves as a catalyst for change in terms of simplifying healthcare coverage and connecting people to good healthcare,” says CEO David Kibbe.

Our headquarters is located in Helena, Montana with regional offices around the state. Since operations began in early 1998 we've created partnerships with over 3,300 medical providers and over 43,000 members employed by more than 600 individual businesses.

At New West, we believe Montanans want and need a company who offers health plans that give them the opportunity to maintain their health as well as providing coverage for illnesses and injuries. As a provider sponsored health plan, our philosophy dictates that we help keep our members healthy while leaving important health care decisions where they belong, in the hands of the medical providers.

We offer employers and individuals a full line of products to choose from so they can choose a plan that works best for them. Our plans include Managed Care, offered through New West Health Plan a Division of New West Health Services, an Indemnity line of products called Health Connections, and four Innovations PPO-like plans.

We've also created innovative tools, such as managing health savings accounts online, which gives notification of claims that need to be paid and the ability to check the status on deductibles and out-of-pocket costs. Consumer driven healthcare, by putting the power back in the hands of consumer, is our goal.
